Teal at the Turtle Back Zoo

Join us for the second annual Teal at the Turtle Back Zoo! For the past two years, we (me along with all of you, my caring friends and family) have worked hard to fundraise throughout the month of September. At our wedding in September 2021 and our first annual Teal at the Turtle Back Zoo, we have raised over $10,000 and we we're hoping to keep it up! In the past year, the money donated to STAAR Ovarian Cancer Foundation has directly funded research that is specific to Low Grade Serous Ovarian Cancer. With an extremely high recurrence rate, it's almost like I'm in limbo just waiting for my current treatment to stop working. That's exactly why I need your help to make sure that if or when that does happen, there will be other treatment plans for me to try. I really want to live a long and happy life with all of my friends and family! 

Join us on September 9, 2023 at the lovely Turtle Back Zoo in West Orange, New Jersey! While this event will run from 11am-2pm (that's when I'll be there to greet you outside the zoo and you can pick up your shirt!), there really is no time limit. If you purchase tickets through this event, your name will be on our guest list and you will be able to arrive at the zoo and provide your name(s) whenever you would like throughout the day. There are picnic tables if you would like to bring your own lunch and there are plenty of food options within the zoo! If you purchase tickets through this registration site, 100% of your ticket sale will benefit STAAR OC. Tickets purchased at the zoo on the day of the event will not benefit STAAR.
