All donations benefit STAAR Ovarian Cancer Foundation.

Heights resident, Nicole Andrews, was diagnosed with a rare form of ovarian cancer, called low-grade serous ovarian cancer (LGSOC), in 2020.  Since her diagnosis, she has been advocating for ovarian cancer awareness and funding especially for rare ovarian cancer types.  She currently sits on the board of STAAR Ovarian Cancer and is serving as the board chair.  STAAR OC has raised and granted more than $600,000 for research on LGSOC since their founding in February 2020.  STAAR is governed by a volunteer board so close to 100% of fund raised go directly to research.

Come out for some community fun and learn about the symptoms of ovarian cancer so you can educate others!

Attendance is free, but register so we have appropriate numbers.

If you know community businesses that would like to participate as sponsors, please share the link to our event.
